Asif Khan is a brilliant graduate of London’s world renowned avant-garde architectural school, The Architectural Association – alumni include Zaha Hadid and Richard Rogers. The cafe is at the mouth of the River Arun and right on West Beach, Littlehampton - a beautiful, unspoilt beach and a designated area of Special Scientific Interest. His most recent work includes a temporary installation in the courtyard of the baroque Palazzo Litta, Milan.
"Palazzo Litta was built in the 1640s by the Architect Francesco Richini and is quite magnificent inside and out. The project I've designed is about imagining the old world meeting a Martian landscape. The colours are of the new world, Mars."
